Graduate Environmental Consultant
Compensation: Based upon experience

EDUCATION: University degree with environmental or science focus or a qualification in environmental science.

EXPERIENCE: Fresh graduates are acceptable, need good understanding of the environmental sector and climate change

EMPLOYMENT: Full-time

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

- Good communication skills
- Customer focused
- Knowledge of climate change and link with carbon dioxide
- Proficient using MS Office (including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Candidate will be required to perform carbon footprint assessments for business and to provide advise to companies on carbon offsetting. In addition the candidate should be prepared to keep up to date will all changes in environmental legislation that affects carbon offsetting. Responsibilities include:

- Assist sales team in responding to customer enquiries
- Assist customers in collating carbon emission data
- Perform carbon footprint assessments for businesses, (training will be provided)
- Keep up to date with the Carbon Offset market, and identify new offset products to sell to businesses and consumers.
- Produce assessment reports for companies
- Participate in customer meetings including prepare presentation materials & give presentations
- Represent Carbon Footprint at conferences and exhibitions
- Input into product development and strategy
- Keep abreast of changes in the environmental sector (including legislation)
- Work closely with sales and management team to help close contracts and win new business
- Input into management reports and meetings
